Australian woman sets husdand's genitals of fire
Australia – An Australian woman from the city of Adelaide has been charged with murder of her husband after allegedly setting her partner’s genitals a blaze because of her jealously as she thought he was having an affair with another woman.
Prosecutors in the city told the Adelaide Magistrates Court this past Monday that the 44-year-old Rajini Narayan confessed to her neighbors she had set her husband on fire on Dec. 8, 2008, after she saw him hug another woman and became jealous.
The woman charged in the crime was initially charged with endangering life and arson but the charges were upgraded to murder after her husband, Satish Narayan (47 years old), died from his injuries last week.
Adelaide prosecutor Lucy Boord told reporters that Narayan had told neighbors she was a “jealous wife” but she had not meant to kill her husband when she doused his genitals while he was asleep with an alcohol-based solvent and set him on fire.
The husband jumped out of bed and knocked over the bottle of alcohol on himself and surrounding areas, causing the fire to spread and resulting in damage to their townhouse and an adjacent property, as news reports emerged.
Narayan had been remanded in custody for psychological assessment and will reappear in court Friday to face charges in the murder of her husband.
She has been formally charged with murder, arson and three counts of endangering life, as the couple’s three children were at home during the incident in the burning of his genitals.
It is not a contraceptive, it is a soft drink, and scientists caution the use of coke to prevent pregnancies.

Coke used as a contraceptive
The latest research available today, demystifies the myth that a popular drink known as coke works as a spermicidal.
A researcher from Harvard Medical School has shed light into this myth, she states that there is no evidence, which would support that the drinks acidity will kill sperm and prevent pregnancies in women.
The research states that sperm would out-swim a douche of the vagina with the popular drink and reach the cervix.
In addition to not providing a contraceptive method, the research indicated that it could also damage the top layers of cells within the vagina and remove health bacteria. This could leave women more prone to sexually transmitted diseases and to vaginal infections.
Coke is still being used as a contraceptive in third world countries and women in other parts of the world still experiment with the soft drink spaying it into their vaginas as sexual enticement.
